Ember Gensis I

Ember Genesis I is a one-of-a-kind reclaimed sculptural vessel transformed through layers of texture, copper-red color, earthy bronze tones, and luminous gold detailing.

Once an overlooked object, the vessel has been reimagined beyond its former identity. Rhythmic channels move across a deeply textured surface, revealing ember-like reds against weathered metallic tones. Irregularities, layering, and shifts in color become part of the transformation, creating a surface that feels simultaneously contemporary and touched by time.

Ember Genesis I represents an evolving idea within James Reclaims IT Studios: reclamation does not have to mean returning something to what it once was. It can become an opportunity to discover something entirely new.

Created as a companion to Ember Genesis II, the two vessels explore transformation at different scales and may be displayed individually or together.
