Emberwing | Reclaimed Creature

Emberwing is a one-of-a-kind reclaimed sculpture created from a ceramic bird transformed through rich metallic color, texture, and a hand-built Pal Tiya nest.

Warm copper, bronze, rose-copper, and gold tones move across the bird's elongated form, while the rough, fractured character of the nest creates a striking contrast beneath it. Together, the two elements have been reworked into a single sculptural object whose new identity moves beyond the decorative object from which it began.

Part of the Reclaimed Creatures collection at James Reclaims IT Studios, Emberwing reflects an evolving idea at the heart of the Studio: reclamation does not have to mean returning something to what it once was. Sometimes the overlooked object becomes the starting point for something entirely new.

Compact in scale and one of a kind, Emberwing makes an unusual original-art gift while remaining a sculptural piece for year-round display.
