Rainbow Patina Burnt | Sculptural Faux Succulent Arrangement
Rainbow Patina Burnt is a one-of-a-kind sculptural botanical arrangement from the Oxidation Rebellion collection at James Reclaims IT Studios. The permanently arranged artificial succulents and botanicals are incorporated into the finished artwork and are included with the piece.
The deeply ribbed vessel moves through warm copper and bronze, charcoal, violet-blue, muted teal, and blue-green patina tones. Its vertical texture breaks the colors into narrow passages that shift as light moves across the surface.
Above the vessel, a permanent composition of artificial succulents, trailing greenery, and moss-like textures extends the sculpture upward and outward. The fresh greens create a striking counterpoint to the darker oxidized surface, while the long trailing succulent introduces movement beyond the vessel itself.
The botanical composition is not temporary styling. It is part of the completed artwork.
Rainbow Patina Burnt grew from the Studio's Rainbow Patina experiments, where multiple metallic and patina-inspired colors are allowed to mingle rather than remaining separate. In this Burnt variation, the palette moves toward deeper copper, charcoal, violet, and weathered blue-green tones.
