Rainbow Patina Light | Sculptural Faux Succulent Arrangement

Rainbow Patina Light is a one-of-a-kind sculptural botanical arrangement from the Oxidation Rebellion collection at James Reclaims IT Studios.

Created as the brighter companion to Rainbow Patina Burnt, this piece explores what happens when multiple metallic and patina-inspired colors are allowed to mingle across a textured reclaimed vessel rather than remaining separated into predictable areas.

Copper and bronze warmth move alongside cooler blue, green, violet, and weathered patina tones, creating a lively surface in which individual colors appear, disappear, and blend into unexpected new passages.

Rising from the vessel is a permanently installed composition of artificial succulents, greenery, and botanical textures. The fresh organic forms contrast with the transformed metallic surface below, bringing together two very different visual languages as one complete artwork.

The botanical arrangement is not temporary styling. It is permanently incorporated and included as part of the finished piece.

Rainbow Patina Light comes from an earlier chapter in the development of James Reclaims IT Studios, when reclaimed vessels and permanent botanical compositions were explored together as finished sculptural arrangements. The work also helped establish an idea that remains central to the Studio today: allowing color, material, texture, and experimentation to interact until something unexpected emerges.
